Do I need a special cable or adapter?
No. If your MFD is a Simrad, Lowrance, or B&G unit from roughly 2015 forward, it already has what you need.
What happens offline?
Everything. Deckhand captures and stores locally, then syncs when you're back in signal. This is non-negotiable for marine software.
Does it work with Garmin?
Not yet. Garmin support is on the Phase 3 roadmap and depends on their API — we'll announce it when it's real.
